Production time starts once payment has cleared and your artwork is approved. Delivery is separate.
The four lead times
- Economy – about 5 working days, 10% less than the listed price.
- Standard – about 3 working days at the listed price.
- Express – next working day, 20% on top of the listed price.
- Same-day – for eligible items ordered, paid and print-ready by 09:00, Monday to Friday, at 30% extra.
The listed price on each product is the Standard price. Economy rewards customers who can plan; Express and Same-day cost more because they jump the queue.
The Same-day cut-off
Same-day applies to eligible items – most paper printing, banners and T-shirts. To qualify, the order must be placed, paid and have print-ready artwork by 09:00, Monday to Friday. If any of those is missing at 09:00, the job moves to the next available day.
Same-day carries a 30% premium and that is deliberate: it disrupts the production schedule. We would much rather help you plan with Standard or Economy.
When the clock starts
Lead times count from when we have both payment and approved artwork. An order paid on Monday with artwork approved on Tuesday starts on Tuesday. Artwork problems are the most common cause of delays, so check our artwork guidelines before uploading.
Working days, holidays and delivery
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays. Orders placed over a weekend start on the next working day. Production time ends when the job is ready to collect in Rivonia; if you choose delivery, travel time is added afterwards.

Ordering your printing: choose your options and quantity in the shop, upload a print-ready PDF and pay by card through Yoco or by EFT. Orders under R5,000 are paid in full before production; orders of R5,000 or more need a 65% deposit. Production starts once payment and approved artwork are both in. Collect from Shop L23, Rivonia Central (opposite NewsCafe Rivonia), Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, or ask for delivery to be arranged and quoted.
