- A3 – 297 x 420mm, R9.00 per copy in colour.
- A2 – 420 x 594mm.
- A1 – 594 x 841mm.
- A0 – 841 x 1189mm.
A2 and above are priced online for each paper and finish.
Paper and finish filters
Gloss gives the brightest colours and suits photos. Satin reduces glare under shop lighting. Matt is easiest to read and looks understated. Lamination protects posters that are handled or displayed for a long time. If the poster needs to stand on an easel, look at foam board instead.
Turnaround
Posters are paper printing and can be done Same-day if placed, paid and print-ready by 09:00 on a weekday (+30%), or Express next working day (+20%). Standard is about 3 working days at the listed price; Economy about 5 working days at 10% less.
Artwork tips
Images need to be sharp at the full poster size – see image resolution and DPI. Use big headlines and short text. Supply a PDF with 3mm bleed. More on poster printing.
Where to use each size
A3 fits most notice boards, lift lobbies, toilet doors and counter displays. A2 is a good size for shop windows and school corridors. A1 and A0 suit foyers, exhibitions, event entrances and presentation walls. If you are unsure, measure the space and hold up a sheet of newspaper or a cut-out to see how much room the poster will take.
Placing your order for posters: everything is done online – choose the specification, pick Economy, Standard, Express or Same-day where offered, upload your file and pay. We accept card payments through Yoco and EFT; anything under R5,000 is paid upfront, and R5,000 or more needs a 65% deposit. We message you when the job is done so you can collect from Rivonia Central in Oriental City, or we arrange delivery to your door at a quoted price.
