Wording and checking
Include who is hosting, the occasion, date and time, venue with address, dress code, RSVP date and how to reply. Read the invitation aloud and have someone else check it too – dates, times and names are the details most often wrong. If each invitation is addressed to a different guest, we can print names from a spreadsheet using variable data printing.
Paper and finishing
Invitations are usually on heavy board, matt or silk for an elegant feel. A textured or uncoated board gives a handmade look. Gloss suits a bright, photo-led party invite. Rounded corners and other finishes can be quoted.
Lead times
Invitations go out weeks before an event, so there is rarely a reason to pay for Express or Same-day. Standard or Economy gives you time to check a proof. Allow extra time if you are posting them. Browse event printing.
Placing your order for invitation printing: everything is done online – choose the specification, pick Economy, Standard, Express or Same-day where offered, upload your file and pay. We accept card payments through Yoco and EFT; anything under R5,000 is paid upfront, and R5,000 or more needs a 65% deposit. We message you when the job is done so you can collect from Rivonia Central in Oriental City, or we arrange delivery to your door at a quoted price.
