Who orders certificates
- Schools – prize-givings, academic and sports awards, Grade 7 and matric milestones.
- Training providers – course completion and accreditation.
- Companies – long-service, safety and achievement awards.
- Sports clubs and churches – participation and recognition.
Personalised names
Certificates usually need a different name on each one. Rather than sending a separate file per person, send one design and a spreadsheet with the names (and any other changing details, such as course name or date). We merge them using variable data printing. Check the spelling of every name in the spreadsheet – we print exactly what is supplied.
Paper and design
Certificates are typically A4 on heavy board, with a matt or silk finish that can be signed with a pen. Leave room for signatures and an official stamp. Avoid gloss lamination if anything needs to be signed after printing. Pair certificates with C4 envelopes from envelope printing to keep them flat.
Choose the lead time that suits your date: Economy (around 5 working days, 10% off), Standard (around 3 working days, listed price), Express (next working day, +20%) or Same-day (eligible items in by 09:00 Mon–Fri, +30%). The clock starts once payment and approved artwork are both in.
Same-day is priced high on purpose. If you can give us a few days, Economy or Standard saves you money.
Price and timing
Certificates are priced online for standard options; personalised runs are quoted based on quantity. Prize-givings and graduations have fixed dates, so order early and allow time to check a proof of the name list. Browse certificates and awards.
Placing your order for certificate printing: everything is done online – choose the specification, pick Economy, Standard, Express or Same-day where offered, upload your file and pay. We accept card payments through Yoco and EFT; anything under R5,000 is paid upfront, and R5,000 or more needs a 65% deposit. We message you when the job is done so you can collect from Rivonia Central in Oriental City, or we arrange delivery to your door at a quoted price.
